This interview is part of a project I developed in 2019 back in NYC, called "NYC Curbside Stories" where I got the opportunity to chat with a few different, super interesting individuals that populate the Big Apple.

Sylvia is one of them.

She moved to NYC from Brazil in the 80s, to become a painter, at the peak of the city's cultural and artistic era. 

We talk about Art, Andy Warhol, the struggles and pleasures of being a full time artist.
