About the Author

Matteo Scaletti was born in Florence, Italy. He has lived in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sydney, Boston, New York, and Miami. He is the host of the Hero World Podcast, inspired by the Hero's Journey of Joseph Campbell. These stories were written on the streets, on a Greyhound coach, hiding from homeless people on the Côte d'Azur, sleeping in a car in Sydney, and while at work, bored to death. These are his first published stories.
