Her Mom Prayed Alone. The Bones Healed Anyway

Her pelvis was broken in a million pieces. The truck had been that heavy, the impact that total. The doctors were clear: she would never walk again.

Her mom didn't accept that.

She went to every church she could find. Nobody would come pray with her. So she prayed alone — and when she visited Leidy in the hospital, she prayed from far away. And Leidy, lying paralyzed in that bed, felt something she can only describe as a massage moving through her bones.

When the doctors ran their scans, they had no explanation. The pelvis — shattered into fragments — had healed completely. They hadn't needed to do anything.

Leidy believes it was her mom. Her mom believes it was God. Maybe those are the same thing.

The Hero's Journey is full of moments where logic runs out. Where the numbers don't add up and the outcome shouldn't be possible. Those are the moments that ask a question: what do you believe in when there's nothing left to believe in?

Leidy's mom had an answer. And somehow, the bones listened.
